Ode to a Grecian Urn...

We found this fun activity online where you roll a dice to decide what graphic elements to use to design a grecian urn.

We continued our Maturation unit for science learning both the female and male reproductive systems. I was proud of myself for teaching it all with a straight face in matter of fact tones. When I probably was giggling and or blushing inside at the vocab I was using.

Finding out what is more common, flipping Heads or Tails, as we played a Greek math game.

Snow tunnel construction for recess.

The Chartrand family came to stay while their dad got a Kidney Transplant. We learned a lot about Kidneys!

Learning to make apple pie from Claire, the chef.

The girls created and created with boxes and paper. This was an entire road system they made in the living room with lanes and stoplights and everything for the remote control American Girl car and the Batmobile.

The septic system got clogged one day so we went and hung out at the church for hours so we could be somewhere with a toilet. The kids made up plays and performed them on the stage. They did several fractured fairy tales and one they made themselves. They had props and lighting and narrators and the whole bit. Awesome.

This was some sort of game they concocted with pillow pets. The Chartrand kids just bring out the fun and creative in mine and they had a great week together.
