P is for Polar Bear Polar Bear, 

Biography writing assignment (what was important about this person, 3 personality traits, 3 facts, other info, birth/death, quotes)

Sam chose Christopher Columbus, Eliza - Marco Polo, Ally - Eleanor Roosevelt

Yoga cards (from beautiful feet books) - shark, dragon and twisting dragon.

Snowed so had a fun recess in the snow.

TUESDAY Nov 10

Shared biography research from last week on ancestors. Eliza Jane Geary, Adriana Jane VanderPol Rogers, and Beverly Fay Aronson Feltis. Such great information and so special to hear about these women.

P is for pepperoni, parmesan, pizza pockets for dinner, 

P is for potato prints

Math. Lots and lots of math...

Ally is doing percents and fractions in Beast Academy now since Khan was not too helpful on that. Sam is doing good on her 7 times tables, and Eliza is doing perfect squares and number puzzles.


WEDNESDAY Nov 11

Fossil Day- learned about fossils and took actual fossil samples and studied them and ordered them as to what time in history they were formed.






THURSDAY Nov 12

Sharing biography essays. Chose a lesser known North American country and watched vids about it. Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Jamaica.






FRIDAY 13

Sometimes friends are out of school so you make school short and go play in the pool and sauna. Socialization? Check.


Eliza loved "Friday Free Write" and set up a special writing place in her room and wrote pages and pages of a new story. I am going to like Friday Free Write too. We are doing this in lieu of poetry since I always forget to find poetry before Friday. Woops.

Ben tells the best stories with his pictures. Lately they are all "Avatar" inspired.

Dad brought home his awesome fossils from work to share with us. So cool.
