Entering Mexico! We stamped our passports from South America and now North America. The kids visited the "souvenir shop" to spend their hard earned tiki bucks. I had to update the shop with "cool" things for Ally like "unlocked screen time on phone for a day" and "money in google play store" cuz toys are too babyish.
We cleaned the school room. It was much needed. I don't even know if I have dared go up there all of south america. Looks much better now. North America might actually happen in the school room.
We read Esperanza Rising in the playhouse while playing Legos. It's awesome in there. Finished the book. Great ending. Good read.
Also read La Frontera a story about a boy and his father crossing border to America. We discussed Uncle Boni and his similar experience and journey to citizenship.
We made plans for a Dia De Los Muertos celebration. Each girl is choosing ancestor to read and write about for our ofrenta.
FALL BREAK while Mom was in UT. (Dad didn't want to be the sub so we had our fall break instead.)
